Mom. Meteorologist. Reporter. Host.
Hi, I’m Julie Atchison!
Mom of two amazing kids, partner to a fabulous man, I truly live life to the fullest. I hope you explore my website and have fun learning about my life and the things I love.
From family, food, fitness, fashion, beauty, and so much more. I am a glass half full kind of person, and try to spread positivity to everyone I meet.
This website is a work in progress, like me.
Since my career in journalism began, I have covered news, entertainment, sports and weather. I have travelled all over North America as a freelance sports reporter. I host cooking segments, lifestyle pieces, gardening segments, ski reports and take the weather live on location daily. I cover important events in the community and interview guests live during the broadcast.
My job is constantly changing and evolving. I get to produce, report, write, edit and fill as the main News Anchor on our flagship newscast. I am a web writer for the CTV London website and am part of social media team updating social media daily. I became a certified Meteorologist through Mississippi Sate in 2018. I am currently the 6/11pm Weather Anchor.
If you are a busy working parent who is trying to fit it all in, this is a one stop shop! From fashion inspiration, quick and easy healthy dinner options, to ways to incorporate fitness, this section covers it all. I live a full and active lifestyle and look forward to sharing my tips and tricks with you.
In the Community
I love to volunteer in the community and I am involved in numerous events. I MC many events , host panels, and interview prominent community members. I enjoy visiting classrooms, providing station tours of the weather centre to share my knowledge and love of weather.
This is one of the best parts of what I do.
Understanding and tackling climate change together. My goal is to educate the public about the realities of climate change’s effect on our region.
